Homestays in Spain allows you to stay with a Spanish Host Family. In exchange for board and meals, you teach them conversational English.
We place English Speakers with host families anywhere in Spain so these families can practice their English. Host Families offer accommodation and meals in exchange for conversational English (2h a day Monday through Thursday only). Families typically request Americans, Canadians, British & Irish, Australians & NZ under 30 years old. ALSO open non-natives whose English level is flawless. In exchange all you need to do is engage in conversational English for 2 hours every evening with the host family. Your deal is making sure the family engages in English for TWO hours per night Mon-Thurs, and for this you are getting full board and free accommodation with the family.

The past 8 months have been an incredible ride of new experiences. I have met so many talented people and have made memories I won’t soon forget. I was so fortunate to live with the Pin family teaching the children English and practicing Spanish all summer. This family is one of the cutest I know, but additionally, the eye cannot see some of their most beautiful characteristics.
José, Alberto, and Inés have reminded me to take time and see life through the eyes of a child…to slow down, ask questions, be imaginative, and to never turn down a glass of cola-cao (or coffee in my case). With a huge lump in my throat and tears in my eyes I said “see you later” to this incredible family earlier this week. Marisa and family, I cannot say thank you enough for the ways in which you have touched my life. Knowing I will be back to see my second family as soon as life allows, tomorrow I will leave Spain feeling fulfilled and more grateful than ever!
